I'd like to thank Folli Follie for the wonderful day we spent at Vodafone London Fashion Weekend held at Somerset House on Sunday. This event was entirely new to me, so it was exciting to be able to go on behalf of such a great brand with some really lovely other bloggers.
The day entailed a quick champagne and canapé sesh in the Luxe Lounge located within the main Show Space, followed by a browse of the pop-up shops next door (THE OUTNET - yes these pieces in the flesh, Pringle of Scotland, Toni and Guy, Maybelline and more).
It didn't take us long to discover the vast amount of discounted shopping on offer throughout all the quirky little rooms inside the part-Tudor/part-Victorian Somerset House. Brands such as Cheap Monday and Sass & Bide were priced at an astounding £5 a tee (I took major advantage of this, of course) and I spotted some of my favourite designers such as Carven, Phillip Lim and Charlotte Simone amongst some of the things on sale. I literally had to be dragged out of the huge Joseph room/store... it was that good. I also picked up an Elle UK subscription for only £1 an issue with the goodie bag of dreams; boasting two Essie polishes and a golden Tangle Teezer.
At 4pm (the moment we had all been waiting for) we were seated on the front row for THE OUTNET.COM's catwalk. As a huge fan of THE OUTNET.COM, I had my camera at the ready to snap my favourite looks, of which you can view above. It was rather surreal being seated on the front row of the Show Space considering a week ago I was working backstage at the very same location. By far my favourite piece was the Iris and Ink teddy bear coat as I have been head-over-heels-in-love with the teddy-bear coat since that Max Mara number. Iris & Ink are THE OUTNET.COM's private label that I stalk on the regular and their Gwen coat (pictured twice above) unashamedly makes me weak at the knees.
A post detailing all the Folli Follie goodies I received will follow shortly so keep your eyes peeled.
