Last week I was very lucky to be invited down to IPR's Summer Gifting Suite to select some new summer pieces. My eyes were immediately drawn to this gingham ruffled beauty on the rail and when I discovered it was Monki I was completely blown away! I've kept my eyes open for a really cool gingham midi ever since I spotted a mass of checked ruffles at the Isa Arfen SS16 presentation in New York last year. Victoria Beckham's SS16 collection also featured monochrome gingham but in slightly sleeker silhouettes... If you're after something a little more budget, then let me point you towards Mango and Asos, who have created some perfect little pieces for your summer wardrobe (you can shop my edit below).
I've dressed the skirt down with my favourite Asos ribbed top (with matching frills, ofc) and these Topshop sliders that haven't yet come off my feet! P.S. They are only £22 (and real leather too!)
