The Loungewear Edit

Sunday 19 April 2020

If you, like me, are turning your nose up at the thought of putting on a dress or pair of jeans to go to work at your dining table each day (because, comfort), but equally don’t want to look or feel like a slob, then I've collated 7 of the best brands selling the ultimate ‘put-together loungewear’ look.

Founded by Agent Provocateur's Serena Rees, Les Girls Les Boys is one of the hottest lingerie and loungewear brands right now. Known for their relaxed-sporty 'bed-to-street' aesthetic, the brand is priced very well and the materials feel very luxurious. I opted for the Brushback Set in Peachy Keen from the archive sale at 50% off, as I’m more of a sweatshirt over hoody kinda girl. PANGAIA

You've probably seen Pangaia on Instagram - they were doing sweats long before we were all working from home! I first discovered the brand late last year when working on a project with a florist. With every piece crafted from recycled fibres and materials made from recycled plastic bottles, this brand is definitely one to watch.

The Frankie Shop

Oh Frankie Shop. We fell in love on my trip to Paris last year and now I'm eagerly awaiting their London residency (surely this will happen soon?). They might not be known for their loungewear, but this minimal treasure stocks the most divine tracksuit in buttermilk yellow. Thank me later.

Nanushka

I've had my eye on Nanushka for quite some time now and love this fuzzy set as seen on Lindsey. How cute!

Paloma Wool

Founded in Barcelona, Paloma Wool is the epitome if Spanish-cool. Special consideration is taken to every single fabric, colour and fit and that's what makes this brand feel so perfectly curated. I've just ordered my first item via Liberty London (this sweatshirt) and I can't wait to wear it!

Sporty & Rich

This NYC-based sustainable lifestyle brand is fast becoming one of the coolest loungewear brands on the planet. I love the relaxed, preppy sweaters and subtle motifs.

Tea You

I discovered this Canadian brand on Instagram and fell head over heels with their off-white tracksuit with a blue motif. To my disappointment it was already sold out and a lot pricier than other brands, plus the fact it would have to be shipped from Canada was off-putting (especially in times like this) but thought the brand deserved a shout-out nonetheless.

For more options (because who doesn’t want more options?!) I’ve created an edit of high-street sets below.

Happy lounging!
